Playing a whole song through when one bar keeps tripping you up wastes most of your practice time. MIDI.PLAY lets you work on just that bar.
Loop the section
Open the play settings, choose Loop, and set the section you want to repeat. It repeats until you turn the loop off. Turning it back on returns to the same section.
Slow it down
Drag the speed control below 100% to play slower. Bring it back up a little each time you get it right.
Wait mode
With wait mode on, the song stops at each note until you play it. Timing doesn't matter, only the right keys. It's the best way to learn a section's notes before playing it in time.
Count-in
A count-in gives you a few beats before the song starts, so your hands are ready.
